Improving intergenerational wellness through health, education, food, housing, and community support.

For us, intergenerational wellness means creating healthier conditions today so individuals, families, communities, and future generations can thrive.

The Impact We Want to Create

We want individuals, families, and communities to have the conditions they need to be well—not only today, but across generations.

We are working toward communities where people can access:

  • affordable mental and physical health supports;
  • nutritious food and nutrition education;
  • safe and stable housing;
  • education and opportunities to learn and grow;
  • referrals, navigation, and connections to essential services; and
  • meaningful relationships, community connection, and a sense of belonging.

For us, success is intergenerational wellness: healthier individuals, stronger families, connected communities, and future generations growing up with greater stability, opportunity, belonging, and well-being.

Why Intergenerational Wellness Matters

Health is shaped by much more than healthcare alone.

Mental and physical health, food, housing, education, financial stability, relationships, and access to community supports are deeply connected. When one area becomes unstable, it can affect many others.

Without access to these supports, people may experience worsening mental and physical health, food insecurity, housing instability, loneliness, financial hardship, family strain, reduced independence, and greater reliance on crisis services.

Over time, these challenges can affect not only individuals, but families and future generations.

The human cost can be significant: poorer health, lost potential, fractured relationships, reduced dignity and independence, and disadvantage carried from one generation to the next.

By addressing these conditions together, we can strengthen individuals and families today while creating healthier conditions for generations to come.
